Reflecting on four years in business has us celebrating the small things that make us pretty proud of the things we’ve achieved when they all add up. Establishing the business in Bright, the heart of the Victorian High Country one year after moving here, was a big leap from many previous years of corporate life in big cities.

After growing up in the Netherlands, Annemarie migrated to Australia in 1971 and found her home first in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, then later with her husband and fellow artist, Barry Willcox to Wandiligong in the Victorian Alps. Mostly self-taught, Annemarie has been a practising artist for over 40 years.

Meet Louise and Elliot, the dynamic duo behind Steel Road Custom Furniture. Founded in 2019, they specialise in completely custom based woodworking, based out of a very large tin shed in Yackandandah, VIC.
