COMMERCIAL INTERIORS

Commercial spaces need to do more than look good. They need to support the way a business operates, shape how people experience it and express something meaningful about the brand behind it.

At Britt White Studio, we create commercial interiors around those outcomes. We bring together creative thinking, technical knowledge and a clear understanding of how people move, work, stay and interact, creating spaces that feel distinctive while working hard for the business.

From commercial accommodation and healthcare to workplaces, hospitality and retail, every project starts with understanding what the space needs to achieve. We then shape the interior through planning, materials, furniture, lighting and detail, balancing personality with practicality, longevity and commercial value.

DESIGN THAT WORKS FOR BUSINESS

A commercial interior has a job to do. It needs to support the people using it, reflect the business behind it and make every square metre work as hard as possible.

We start by understanding the bigger picture: how the business operates, who the space is for, what needs to happen there and what success looks like. From there, we shape an interior that balances experience, identity and practical performance, with creative thinking backed by detailed planning and technical knowledge.

BRAND

A strong interior can express brand identity without simply decorating in brand colours. Materiality, lighting, furniture and spatial planning become part of how the business is experienced.

EXPERIENCE

How people feel and behave in a space matters. From arrival through to everyday use, the customer, guest and employee journey should feel intuitive, welcoming and considered.

PERFORMANCE

Good commercial design needs to make financial and operational sense. Budget, durability, maintenance and space efficiency all influence where investment will have the greatest long term impact.

DELIVERY

Commercial projects come with plenty of moving parts. Clear documentation, detailed specification and close collaboration with clients, consultants, builders and suppliers help carry the design through with confidence.

PLACES PEOPLE CHOOSE TO STAY

Commercial accommodation has to work for more than the person checking in. From serviced apartments and holiday cabins to lodges, short stay properties and multi-unit accommodation, it needs to create a memorable guest experience, stand up to repeated use and make commercial sense for the people operating it.

At Britt White Studio, we consider the whole experience, from arrival and common areas through to how guests sleep, gather, store their things and move through the space. Materials, furniture and finishes are chosen for durability and maintenance, while every investment is weighed against its impact on the property and guest experience.

For multi-unit accommodation, consistency matters too, but that doesn’t mean every room, cabin or apartment should feel identical. A strong design language can create cohesion across a property or portfolio while allowing individual spaces to retain their own character.

The result is accommodation that feels considered and distinctive, supports the property’s market appeal and keeps longevity, operating realities and return on investment firmly in view.
