BRIGHT & SURROUNDS
Bright is home. It’s where Britt White Studio began, where our Studio still sits and where so much of our work, inspiration and community is found, in the heart of Victoria’s High Country.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of shaping homes and spaces across Bright, Porepunkah, Myrtleford, Mount Beauty, Tawonga and the surrounding valleys. From family homes and renovations to holiday properties and commercial spaces, this is a landscape we know deeply and never tire of designing within.
Every project is different, but the connection to place is constant. The architecture, the seasons, the landscape and the people who call this part of Victoria home all find their way into the work.
OUR HOME GROUND
Living and working in Bright gives us a close understanding of what makes homes and spaces in this part of the world different.
The seasons are distinct, the landscape is ever present and the way people live shifts with them. Homes need to feel comfortable through hot summers and cold winters, handle muddy boots, bikes, skis, guests and busy family life, while still making the most of the views, light and connection to outdoors that draw people here in the first place.
Years of working across the region have also built strong relationships with local builders, trades, makers and suppliers. That local knowledge helps us design with a clear understanding of what can be achieved, how projects come together and the character that makes each town, valley and property its own.
ACROSS THE VALLEYS
Bright may be our base, but the surrounding towns and valleys each have their own character, pace and way of living.
That difference matters to us. We don’t approach the High Country with one visual formula. Every project starts with the setting, the existing architecture and the people who will use the space, then builds from there.
The result is work that feels connected to its place without ever feeling predictable.
