Luxury Alpine Villas: Elevated Escapes in the Heart of Bright

Four new architecturally designed one-bedroom villas now set the benchmark for premium accommodation in Victoria’s High Country. As part of an ongoing partnership with Tasman Holiday Parks, Britt White Studio was engaged for this commercial project to deliver a complete interior fit-out: developing a cohesive furniture plan, procuring all furnishings plus accessories in addition to overseeing installation and styling for the highly anticipated opening of the Luxury Alpine Villas at BIG4 Bright.

Designed by ZEDD Cabins, the villas feature a striking black-clad exterior that not only makes a bold architectural statement, but also informs the mood and palette of the interiors. Led by Britt Howard, Creative Director at Britt White Studio, the interior design took cues from this dramatic exterior to create a cohesive and immersive atmosphere throughout. In compact spaces like these, crafted for rest and relaxation, ensuring harmony between the exterior and interior was a deliberate move, helping the villas feel intentional, calming and considered from the moment guests arrive.

Inside, a warm yet moody palette of polished chrome, black marble, mid-toned timbers and brass accents is paired with rich upholstery (like burgundy velvet!) and mid-tone carpets. The result is a luxe alpine atmosphere that feels indulgent yet grounded and perfect for couples seeking a stylish retreat after days spent hiking, skiing or simply enjoying the mountain air.

Each cabin includes a plush bedroom suite, open-plan lounge area, dining nook and a compact yet functional kitchen zone. The specification was carefully optimised to ensure premium rental returns for management every amenity was present without compromising flow or comfort. Outdoor dining areas extend the living space and provide yet another invitation to slow down and connect with nature.

Throughout the cabins, large-format black and white alpine photography echoes the surrounding landscape and reinforces a sense of place, in the process bringing the outside in and anchoring the project in the natural beauty of Bright.

Designed with intention and styled with boldness, the Luxury Alpine Villas are a lesson in balance: dark yet inviting, modern yet timeless and commercial yet deeply personal in experience.
