From the Studio to the Slopes

WHY WE ARE SUPPORTING TEAM HOTHAM

Some of you know me as part of the Britt White Studio team. Others know me from a different setting…standing on the side of a ski run, drill at the ready, cheering on the next generation (and sometimes the last generation) of alpine ski racers at Team Hotham.

This season, I’m proud to say those two worlds have come together.

Britt White Studio (and our property styling brand, Curated for KIN) are officially sponsoring Team Hotham, the winter sports club that’s played a big role in my life. I started coaching here in the early '90s and now serve on the Committee. It’s been incredible to watch the club grow and evolve while staying true to its roots: building a love of skiing and snowboarding, community and personal excellence in everyone who puts on the black team jacket.

When the opportunity came up to support the club through our business, it was an easy yes. Our studio is based in Bright and we work all across the High Country - notably with award winning projects across Mt Hotham and Dinner Plain - creating spaces that are made to be lived in, loved and shared. From short-stay chalets to family ski homes, we’ve designed and styled them all.

It’s work that feels meaningful. We know that great design can elevate your time on the mountain…whether it’s a custom boot room that makes mornings smoother, a cosy spot by the fire to regroup at the end of the day or a furnished home that’s ready to enjoy without the overwhelm (that’s where Curated for KIN comes in).

We’re big believers in giving back to the community that’s shaped us and we’re already proud supporters of the Alpine Cycling Club, Bright Art Gallery and the Community Bank Bright. Team Hotham is close to our hearts and we’re excited to be involved in a new way.

Let’s Meet (or reconnect)

To celebrate, Britt and I would love to invite all Team Hotham families, in fact anyone from the wider Hotham and Dinner Plain community, to a casual Meet and Greet at the clubhouse.

Saturday, 12 July
4:30–6:30pm
Team Hotham Clubhouse

It’s a chance to say hello, share a drink and chat about what we do. Whether you're planning a renovation, need help furnishing your place or just want to meet the faces behind the business. No pressure, no presentations, just friendly faces and good local connections.

Hope to see you there!
